Data Protection Officer — or DPO, for those in the know 🕶

As the name suggests, the DPO's role is to ensure the protection of personal data within the company or organization they’re part of.

They can be an internal employee or an external service provider. Either way, the DPO follows the guidelines set out by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the EDPB (European Data Protection Board).
