A project in Axeptio corresponds to a website (or an app) where you want to display one of our wonderful consent widgets.
It’s your workspace within the Axeptio platform. This is where you’ll configure your cookies, customize your widget, manage integrations, and monitor consent statistics.
🧾 Good to know:
With a self-service subscription, 1 project = 1 main domain (and its subdomains).
For example: mysite.com, blog.mysite.com, and app.mysite.com can all be part of the same project.
If you manage multiple distinct domains (like mysite.com and anothersite.com), you’ll need one project (and one subscription) per domain.
👉 This setup is specific to the self-service plan.
If you have an Agency or Enterprise subscription, you can manage multiple projects under a single subscription.
🛠️ What’s an Axeptio configuration?
A configuration is a version of the Axeptio widget that you build and customize in the interface.
It includes all the settings of your consent banner: design, languages, services to declare (Google Analytics, Meta, YouTube, etc.), and the texts shown to your visitors.
💡 A configuration can be modified at any time, and you can create several to test different approaches or meet specific needs (e.g., one config for French, another for Spanish...)
