Here’s our fail-proof checklist to make sure your widget gets the spotlight it deserves:
1️⃣ Is the widget script properly integrated into your site?
As explained in this article 👈, once your widget is created in the back office, you need to integrate its script into your site. Whether you're using GTM or a custom integration, double-check that everything is in place.
2️⃣ Are you using the correct version of the script?
Adding the script is great, but adding the right script is even better! 😁 If you have multiple versions of your widget and just published a different one, the integrated script might not specify a cookiesVersion (aka the version name). If that’s the case, the widget will automatically load the first available version from your list. More details in this article 👈
3️⃣ Did you click “Publish” in the back office and select the correct project version?
Even if the script is on your site, your widget won’t go live until you push it forward! Click the “Publish” button in your back office to bring it to the stage. 🌈
4️⃣ Try refreshing your browser and clearing the cache.
Sometimes, your browser holds onto an older version of your site and keeps showing it instead of the latest update. Clearing your cache ensures you see the most up-to-date version—widget included!
5️⃣ Is your subscription active and up to date?
Good cookies come with good accounts! 🍪 Sometimes, subscription issues can block the widget from publishing. Head to the "Manage my plan" section (via the ⚙️ settings in the top right corner) to check everything is in order.
