To comply with GDPR by blocking all modules, we have developed a PrestaShop plugin. Axeptio is the official CMP for PrestaShop, which you can find on their website: [https://www.prestashop.com/](https://www.prestashop.com/)
Step 1: Install the Module
To download the module:
https://addons.prestashop.com/en/legal/48896-transparent-and-fun-cookie-consent-axeptio.html
Then activate the plugin in your administration area.
Step 2: Configure the Module
In the PrestaShop administration area, add your Client ID. You need to retrieve it from your Axeptio account.
Go back to PrestaShop to configure the module and add your Client ID.
The system will detect the different Cookie Versions, and you can assign your Cookie Version to a specific shop and language. Confirm to save the data.
Your widget will now appear on your site.
Step 3 : Google Consent Mode V2
The Axeptio plugin is compatible with Google's Consent Mode V2.
To activate Consent Mode V2, follow these steps:
- In the Axeptio back office, activate Consent Mode V2 to display Google's four consent purposes. You can customize the display. Publish the widget.
- In the back office of your Prestashop store, activate the Consent Mode V2 option and set the default values you want to assign. Confirm to save the data.
Step 4: Select the Modules You Want to Block
Our Axeptio PrestaShop plugin injects the Axeptio code to display the widget (Step 2).
But that's not all; it also allows you to block code injected by a module/plugin directly.
For example, if you have added an Analytics plugin, you need to block it to obtain user consent. To do this, go to the configuration and check the modules you want to block.
Information About Pre-Checked Modules
At Axeptio, we want to make your life easier, so we have already identified the modules that collect personal data. These are pre-checked by default.
Extensions identified as collecting personal data are marked with a warning:
You can keep the configuration proposed by Axeptio.
However, if you want to add modules to the consent process, you can do so by checking additional modules in the administration area.
