Page Views 📑
A Page View corresponds to the opening or modification of the URL on a given domain (excluding the hash fragment #..., but including the index page /).
A URL change can result from (but is not limited to):
- Loading a new page by following a link, whether through server-side or client-side navigation (SPA)
- A redirection initiated by the client or server
- Reloading the current page, triggered by the user, client, or server.
The URL change must be evaluated based on the window.location.pathname property.

Hits 📖
A "hit" is counted when an internet user requests our servers to download the Axeptio script. This counter represents a fraction of actual traffic, as browsers cache our script in memory.
This value was previously used to count the number of page views on the old version of statistics (old calculation method). This metric serves as a reference point for our clients who subscribed to our services before the update of our statistics, whose pricing calculation system was based on this figure.
Quick Bounce Rate (detailed for mobile and desktop) 🏌️♂️
Percentage of visitors who viewed a single page and left the site in less than 5 seconds.
