Create your banner with Shake

Let Shake scanner your site and automatically create a pre-filled Axeptio banner with detected services.

Written by Alexandre Dias Da Silva

Shake can scan your website and automatically generate a new Axeptio banner, with detected categories and services already pre-filled. This operation can only be performed once — banner creation cannot be scheduled on a recurring basis.

Required subscription: banner creation from Shake is available starting from Small plans. See What is Shake? for details on features according to your subscription.

Create a banner

  1. From your project, click on Shake - Cookie Scanner in the sidebar menu.

  2. Click on Schedule a new scan.

  3. In What is the name of this scan?, enter a name — it will also be used as the name of the banner created.

  4. Verify the URL in What is your website's URL? — it is pre-filled with your project's URL. The scan will analyze a maximum of 70 pages.

  5. If your website has subdomains to include, enable Scan subdomains.

  6. Under What do you want to do with this scan?, select Create a new banner.

  7. If you want Shake to adapt the banner's appearance to your website's colors and typography, enable Apply your website's design to your widget (available from Medium & Large plans).

  8. In Choose the country for your banner, select the country or country group you are targeting.

  9. If you want to target a specific geographic subdivision, fill in Choose the subdivision for your banner — this field is optional.

  10. In Choose the regulation for your banner, select the applicable regulation.

  11. In Choose the language for your banner, select the banner's language.

  12. In Email to notify when the scan is complete, verify or add the email addresses to be notified.

  13. Click on Confirm.

Once the scan is complete, the new banner is available in My banners. It contains the services detected on your website, organized by category.

If you want to further customize your banner, see Customize your widget.
