Let’s break down how we collect and display your consent stats — transparently and responsibly.

When visitors interact with your site, consent proofs are automatically stored on our servers. You can view them anytime in your Consent Proof Register from your Axeptio back-office.

But first — is this personal data?

Not at all. The consent proof does not contain any personally identifiable information. Here's what we do log:

  • User-Agent: This tells us what browser and device was used

  • List of accepted vendors: We record which cookies the user allowed

  • Consent type:

    • Full consent – All cookies accepted

    • ⚠️ Partial consent – At least one cookie accepted

    • ⛔️ Refused – No cookies accepted

How are the stats calculated?

We process millions of records per day. To make things fast and readable, we group and sample the data by hour. This is how we build the charts and graphs you see in your Statistics tab.

Is this considered a tracker?

Nope.

We don’t individualize requests, and we don’t use any tracking technologies. This means you don’t need to list Axeptio in your list of cookies. Our data collection respects privacy, by design.

If you have questions about how your data is processed or want to learn more, our support team is always happy to help 🍪
